Welcome to Smithing's Woodhill Resort on-line.  Your stay with us will offer quiet seclusion on the largest lake  of the famous Minocqua Chain of Lakes, Lake Tomahawk, yet close to the bustling towns of Lake Tomahawk and Minocqua.  Three lodging options await you.  The Doll House, a modern housekeeping cottage, is set just above the Boat House, another modern housekeeping cottage, which is located right on the water.  New is our Lodge, located at the top of the property, overlooking the grounds and waters of Lake Tomahawk.

Wildlife is in abundance on Lake Tomahawk. Many kinds of birds live in the beautiful forests. Deer and many other animals make their home amid the wilderness that is at your doorstep. Enjoy the 3627 acres of Lake Tomahawk (up to 80ft deep) for boating, swimming, fishing or navigate the other beautiful lakes of the chain.

The Fishery - Walleyes dominate the sport fishery while Musky, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Perch and Blue are also abundant.  Natural reproduction of walleyes and growth to legal size are outstanding. How to get to Smithing's Woodhill Resort - Our resort is just north of Lake Tomahawk on Hwy 47.  Look for our sign on the East side of the road pointing to our long driveway on the west side of the road.
